Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy is provided by Jining Ruiyun Network Technology Co., Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). It explains how we handle information when you use our mobile applications, including Align Desk and AlignBox (each, an "App", and together, the "Apps").

Your documents and files are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to us. To keep the Apps free, we use third-party advertising and analytics services that collect certain device and usage information, as described below.

Applications Covered

This Policy applies to the following applications we publish on Google Play: Align Desk and AlignBox. Any future applications we publish that link to this Policy are also covered.

Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account or sign in, and we do not ask you to provide personal details such as your name or email to use the Apps.

Processed only on your device (not collected by us): the PDF and document files you scan, open, convert, or merge, and your in-app settings. These stay on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

Collected automatically by third-party services when you use the Apps:

• Device and technical information (device model, operating system version, language, network/IP address, coarse region)
• Advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID)
• App usage and interaction events (screens viewed, features used, sessions, crashes)
• Install source information used to measure marketing campaigns

We use this information to display and measure advertising, understand how the Apps are used, improve stability and features, and prevent fraud or abuse.

Advertising

The Apps display advertising through Google AdMob and may use additional mediation and advertising partners (for example, Meta Audience Network). These partners may collect and process your Advertising ID, device information, and IP address to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can control personalized advertising and reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect usage and device information (as listed above) to understand engagement and improve the Apps. Firebase is provided by Google and governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Attribution

We use the Google Play Install Referrer to understand where installs come from and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. This does not identify you personally.

Permissions We Use

The Apps request the following Android permissions, used solely for core functionality:

  Camera

  Used exclusively by the "Scan" feature to capture documents with your camera. Images are processed locally and saved to your device. No images are uploaded or stored by us.

  Storage / Media Access

  Used to read and write PDF and document files on your device (scanning local folders, saving converted or merged files). Your files never leave your device.

• 🏠

  Default Home App (Launcher)

  Required for an App that functions as your Android home screen. This permission does not grant access to your personal data.

How Information Is Shared

We share the automatically collected information described above with our service providers and advertising partners (including Google and mediation/ad networks) so they can provide advertising, analytics, and distribution services on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

Data Retention

Files and settings remain on your device and are removed when you uninstall an App. Information collected by our advertising and analytics partners is retained according to their own policies. You can reset your Advertising ID at any time to limit ad profiling.

Your Choices

• Reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings.
• Uninstall an App to stop all further data collection by that App and remove locally stored data.

Children's Privacy

The Apps are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and advertising in the Apps is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

International Data Transfers

Because we rely on Google and other global providers, information collected by these services may be processed in countries other than your own. These providers implement their own safeguards as described in their privacy policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
